The reasoning for me is simple, I'm a college student with little spare cash to put into things like this, and there is no way I can afford to throw $500+ away on an oversized browser, with limited capabilities. The iPad doesn't even support flash, and if I want to connect to it away from wifi, it costs 14.99 for 250mb(not enough) or $29.99 per month. For me, this is obviously not spending that I can afford. It also doesn't even have usb ports... soo.... no thanks!

I would have to agree with you Cronus..

It's always best to wait until they release the next version of these types of units.

If they don't support Flash, I'm sure the users that do purchase them will complain enough and they will release a new model that supports it.

I don't know about that marzy, all of apple's products do not support flash(iphone/itouch), and apple has stated that they do not intend to support it. I believe it is a problem between adobe and apple, which is silly, since flash is very necessary in a product that is basically an oversized web browser.

The first gen iPads already had things for the Gen 2 iPads such as the frame for it had an etched out hole in the top of it. Id assume for webcams. They already had the Gen 2 features made in the Gen 1 models.
