Hey.

I'm new to the idea of text-based MMORPG. I'm hoping to try and use the MCCodes to create a game. I do quite like these web-based projects 

Would be great if anybody could show me where to start off. i use FTP to upload my files, and I have hosting at the ready. Somebody told me I need a file called install.php and header.php - is this true? Can somebody give me the links to download the base files needed to start creating the game.

install/header comes with mccodes package

so if you've already uploaded your files, make sure you chmod your pub directory to 777 'temporarily'

Run the installer.php after you set up your new database.

then once everything is installed correctly

disable register.php and remove your installer.php from directory, then change chmod to at least 750 on pub_html:)

Thanks for the help I havn't even got to the part of uploading yet though (sorry if I didn't make this clear)..

Do you have any links to where I can download the base files?
