From my experience everyone wants a great captcha system to stop bots and auto refreshers, alot of coders have created there own, but I like this better. Go to http://recaptcha.net and sign up. It's completely free, this software is used by larger sites like Facebook, and even comes prepackaged in some CMS's like Joomla. Hope this helps.

that is nice, i ran into it on a game just yesterday but nothing is a good as just clicking  i for 1 hate to have to type  to vote let alone to validate too.

I have been using recaptcha for along time now, love it. And works absolutely the best. I have tried getting it to replace the captcha in MC with no success. It is far to intergrated into the registration, etc, would be nice is someone could release a free tutorial on how to replace the old system with this.

can someone please explain what this program does and how it works? I'm at school and all I can view out of it is some pages cached from bing.com to see what the program is but I don't get anything out of it.

oh. so basically, it is a verification program that lets you do a lot of things to keep just computers from doing things on your site. my site doesn't do that and I don't know why. I just can't insert the right codes on the login. the register yes.

I've never actually used Recaptcha but I hear good things personally I just stick with the GD libary and sessions (how I hate sessions) xD
