While some may claim that the economy in the mccode/mccodes engine is faulty, some game owners feel that players enjoy it. What do you think? Should the economy be completely inflated to keep players entertained for a short time, or would you like them making pennies and begging for more, or maybe a bit in between?

I think each game is different my top player in my game so far has about 3 mill
I think it's crazy to have billions and billions of $
To keep my economy down I have just changed my house prices and made my pricey items sell value 0

i was stuck between thousands and millions in the end i choose thousands....i know it is extremely difficult to control money in a game as when i play i like to have alot of money or alot of something which will generate alot of money. im usually the person who destroys a game with too much money :L...i dont do it purpose it just happens.

Prefer lower money for average player. Not as easy to get money and prevents an "inflation" in my case when poepel have trillions of dollars

When I first started I made the mistake of having an items sell price at something like 100000 it's a donators item and someone donated and sold it for the sell price.
I would of done the same thing lol
But this user made lots of money from it.
I was worried he would kill the economy but it's turned out ok, as now he has brought items from other players giving them a little money to start of with.

Some players play games to be bigger then life to be the best have the most and just try to become the top dog
other players like the strugle to make it the feeling of achevment and the strugle.
basicaly some like the view at the top some like the climb.
Its impossible to make a game for everyone as the two groups more often then not are polar oppisits but I think the majority of players will stay and play as long as they are advancing at a decent pace and feel a sense of achevment.
So I like to go with the slow climb mostly most players having first thousands then tens of thousands and less and less on up to millions.
doing this is very hard Drain and Faucet managment is always ruff.

When I used to play text games, I loved 'big' money games.
The more money I had, the more power I felt I had lmao.

But I also like some low economy games, It really depends on the setup of the game itself, if there are enough features to keep me entertained while struggling to find cash, I'll play lol.

I model my games off the real world economy.

Some have pennies, others have billions. Just depends what level you are on.
